Heather Townsend is an American actor + singer based in Chicago.
Her credits are varied—from Shakespeare and Tennessee Williams, to musical theatre, avant garde, cabarets, and commercials. Work includes productions with Mercury Theatre, Shattered Globe, Northlight, Remy Bumppo, Dog & Pony, Theatre Wit, Apple Tree, Next, and readings with the Goodman and Steppenwolf.
Townsend is delighted to serve as a Porchlight Music Theatre's Artistic Associate, where she's also performed in productions of The Gifts of the Magi, Nine, Sunday in the Park with George and Macabaret.
A graduate of Columbia University and The University of Chicago Law School, Heather is a former lawyer turned proud wife, actor, and mother of two.
